Your first lesson with me will be focused on you: I will evaluate your level and gather input to plan a perfect, personalized program tailored to your preferences. As a highly experienced American tutor, I bring vast experience from the university level and directing my own private school. Your first lesson will be focused on creating a personalized program for you.

I hold TESOL and TEFL certification and specialize in advanced grammar/writing and test prep (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, etc.). I have authored over 15 award-winning textbooks, including a TOEFL prep book for Japanese speakers.

I discuss a wide variety of topics, enjoy sharing my Western culture, and have expertise tutoring Japanese students. I look forward to working with you!
